🍞 Cinnamon Toast (Perfectly Crispy & Sweet)

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (white, brown, or brioche work great)
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt (optional, enhances flavor)

  1. Preheat
    • Oven method: Preheat to 190°C (375°F)
    • Or use a toaster oven / pan
  2. Make cinnamon sugar butter
    • Mix butter, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until smooth and spreadable.
  3. Spread generously
    • Spread the mixture evenly over each slice, all the way to the edges.
  4. Cook

    • Place on a baking tray
    • Bake for 8–10 minutes, then broil/grill for 1–2 minutes until bubbly and slightly crisp

    Pan method (quick):

    • Place bread butter-side up in a covered pan on low heat
    • Cook until the bottom is crisp and topping melts

    Toaster shortcut:

    • Toast bread first, then spread mixture while hot (less crispy topping but still tasty)

  • Use softened butter so it spreads evenly
  • Don’t skimp on the edges—it prevents dry corners
