Three-Minute Jam: low sugar, low fuss, and thick like jam. The most delicious jam

Posted on March 26, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a quick and simple 3-minute jam recipe that’s low sugar, thick, and delicious—perfect for toast, yogurt, or desserts 🍓

🧾 Ingredients (makes ~1 cup)

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, or a mix)
  • 2–3 tbsp sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or a low-calorie sugar substitute)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chia seeds (optional, helps thicken naturally)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the fruit

  • Wash and chop berries if needed.
  • Place them in a microwave-safe bowl.

2. Sweeten and cook

  • Add sweetener and lemon juice.
  • Microwave on high for 2–3 minutes, stirring halfway, until berries are soft.

3. Thicken

  • Mash the berries with a fork or potato masher.
  • Stir in chia seeds if using—they absorb liquid and thicken the jam in a few minutes.

4. Cool & store

  • Let cool for a few minutes; it will thicken further as it cools.
  • Store in a clean jar in the fridge for up to a week.

✨ Tips

  • For a smoother jam, blend the mixture before adding chia seeds.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste—berries are naturally sweet when ripe.
  • Use this jam on toast, pancakes, oatmeal, or as a yogurt topping.

If you want, I can give a version that’s sugar-free but extra thick and spreadable, perfect for keto or low-carb diets.

Do you want me to do that?
