  • 1 can Refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 lb Breakfast sausage

  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • Optional: chopped Green onions for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. Cook the sausage

In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.

3. Prepare the biscuits

Cut each biscuit into quarters and spread them evenly in the baking dish.

4. Add sausage

Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the biscuit pieces.

5. Mix eggs

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and black pepper. Pour the mixture evenly over the biscuits and sausage.

6. Add gravy and cheese

Prepare the country gravy according to package instructions and pour it over the casserole.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

7. Bake

Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the eggs are set and the top is golden.

8. Serve

Let it cool for about 5 minutes, garnish with green onions, and serve warm.
