If you want bread in about 10 minutes, the fastest option is a no-yeast skillet bread (sometimes called quick flatbread). It’s simple and only needs a few ingredients. 🍞

10-Minute No-Yeast Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup plain yogurt (or water/milk)
  • 1 tsp oil or butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add yogurt: Mix until it forms a soft dough.
  3. Knead briefly: Knead for about 1 minute until smooth.
  4. Divide: Split dough into 2–3 small balls.
  5. Roll flat: Roll each into a thin circle.
  6. Cook: Heat a pan on medium heat and cook each piece 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden.

✅ Ready in about 10 minutes.

Optional additions

  • Garlic and butter
  • Cheese inside the dough
  • Fresh herbs

You’ll get soft, warm bread similar to naan or flatbread, perfect with eggs, curry, or tea.
