No-Bake German Chocolate Pie

Posted on April 3, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple no-bake German Chocolate Pie recipe that’s rich, creamy, and easy to make.

🍫 No-Bake German Chocolate Pie

🥣 Ingredients (8 servings)

  • 1 pre-made chocolate cookie or graham cracker crust (9-inch)
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

🔪 Instructions

  1. Make the filling:
    • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine condensed milk, evaporated milk, chocolate chips, and butter.
    • Stir constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth and thickened (≈5–7 minutes).
    • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, coconut, and pecans (reserve a few for topping if desired).
  2. Assemble the pie:
    • Pour filling into the pre-made crust.
    • Smooth the top with a spatula.
  3. Chill:
    • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  4. Serve:
    • Top with whipped cream and reserved coconut/pecans before serving.

💡 Tips

  • You can use chocolate wafer crust for extra chocolate flavor.
  • Toast the coconut lightly for a richer, nutty flavor.
  • Perfect for holidays or last-minute desserts since it’s no-bake.

If you want, I can also give a simpler 5-ingredient no-bake version that’s ready in 15 minutes flat.
