Here’s a delicious Pecan Pie Muffins recipe that’s perfect for breakfast or dessert—sweet, nutty, and loaded with that classic pecan pie flavor!


Pecan Pie Muffins

Ingredients (makes 12 muffins)

For the Muffins:

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Pecan Topping:

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
  • Preheat to 180°C / 350°F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or grease well.
  1. Make the muffin batter
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined (do not overmix).
  1. Prepare the pecan topping
  • Mix chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, cream, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until combined.
  1. Assemble muffins
  • Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full with batter.
  • Spoon the pecan topping evenly over each muffin.
  1. Bake
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  1. Cool and serve
  • Let muffins cool for 5–10 minutes before serving. Optional: drizzle with a little maple syrup or melted chocolate for extra indulgence.

✅ Tip: For extra gooeyness, press a pecan half into the center of each muffin before baking.
