Puff pastry spoons with cheese and salmon are a simple but elegant appetizer—perfect for parties or special dinners. 🥐🐟

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of Puff Pastry
  • 100 g Smoked Salmon
  • 100 g Cream Cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh Dill or Parsley (optional)
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pastry
    • Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
    • Roll out the Puff Pastry and cut it into spoon-shaped pieces (you can use real spoons as a guide).
  2. Shape the spoons
    • Place the pastry pieces on the back of metal spoons or shape them slightly curved on a baking tray lined with parchment.
  3. Egg wash
    • Brush with beaten egg to make them golden.
  4. Bake
    • Bake for 10–12 minutes until puffed and golden. Let them cool.
  5. Add the filling
    • Pipe or spoon Cream Cheese onto each pastry spoon.
    • Top with a small slice of Smoked Salmon.
  6. Garnish
    • Sprinkle a little Dill or Parsley and a pinch of black pepper.

✨ Serving tip:
Add a tiny drop of lemon juice or a few Capers on top for extra flavor.
