🍗 Crockpot Cream Cheese Chicken

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, cut into blocks
  • 1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: shredded cheddar, chopped chives, or paprika for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken
  • Place raw chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Season lightly with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
  1. Add cream cheese
  • Cut cream cheese into chunks and place directly on top of chicken.
  1. Add soup
  • Pour the can of cream of chicken (or mushroom) over the chicken and cream cheese.
  1. Cook
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  1. Shred and mix
  • Remove chicken and shred with two forks.
  • Stir it back into the creamy sauce so everything is well coated.
  1. Optional toppings
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheese, chopped herbs, or paprika before serving.

  • Add frozen vegetables (like broccoli or peas) in the last 30 minutes for extra nutrition.
